HOW TO USE THE STRATEGY GUIDE

Sonic Forces: Battle involves more strategy than it looks like it does. This can be a helpful tool for anyone wondering how exactly to use each character. Each character's guide includes their picture, stats (Speed, Acceleration, and Strength), special ability, and some tips. Good luck!

CHARACTERS

Sonic The Hedgehog

Spd: 10, Acc: 5, Str: 3

Gotta Go Fast: Sonic gains 5 speed for three seconds.
Sonic's speed is obviously his strength, but his weakness is his strength. His speed can be used to confuse the enemy by moving rapidly in different directions and fire many attacks at the same time.

Miles "Tails" Prower

Spd: 8, Acc: 7, Str: 3

Tails Fly: Tails gains 5 acceleration for three seconds.
Tails's acceleration is his strength, but his weakness is also his strength. By jumping around, Tails can confuse the opponent and fire many attacks from the air.

Knuckles The Echidna

Spd: 7, Acc: 4, Str: 9

I'm Confused: Knuckles gains 1 strength for three seconds.
Knuckles's strength is his strength, but his weakness is his acceleration. Although is attacks are slow, he can deal a whole lot of damage by just using a few attacks. But be careful around flying opponents.

Amy Rose

Spd: 9, Acc: 5, Str: 7

Piko Piko Hammer: Amy gains 10 range for three seconds.
Amy is strong in all her stats but her attacking speed is her weakness. While fighting strong opponents, Amy can use her Piko Piko Hammer to hit the opponents without getting hit by them.

Blaze The Cat

Spd: 9, Acc: 4, Str: 8

Axel Tornado: Blaze deals 1 damage to anyone touching her for three seconds.
Blaze's strength is her speed and strength, but her acceleration is her weakness. Although her jump height is small she can deal a lot of damage through both attacks and her Axel Tornado.

Silver The Hedgehog

Spd: 6, Acc: 6, Str: 6

Psychokinesis: Silver freezes the opponent for three seconds.
Silver's stats are even, but compared to the others, his strength is his strength and his speed is his weakness. Silver can deal a lot of damage and cause the opponent to be an easy target using his Psychokinesis.

Shadow The Hedgehog

Spd: 10, Acc: 9, Str: 3

Air Shoes: Shadow gains 5 speed and halves his gravity for three seconds.
Shadow's strength is his speed and acceleration, but his weakness is his strength. His speed, jump height, and Air Shoes makes him a strong and fast flying opponent.

Metal Sonic

Spd: 9, Acc: 6, Str: 7

Copycat: Metal Sonic uses the opponent's ability and transforms into them.
Metal Sonic's strength is his ability to copy the opponent, but that is also his weakness. Copycat can be very useful when fighting, but when fighting another Metal Sonic, it is useless.

Jet The Hawk

Spd: 10, Acc: 5, Str: 5

Extreme Gear: Jet ignores the effects of gravity for three seconds.
Jet's strength is his speed, but his weakness is his ability. Extreme Gear is useful for attacking flying opponents or escaping from ground opponents, but can waste time for the opponent to use their special ability, and time for attacking. 

Wave The Swallow

Spd: 9, Acc: 6, Str: 7

Sabotage: Wave halves the opponent's speed for three seconds.
Wave is good through all her stats, but her attacking speed is her weakness. With Sabotage, Wave can make up for her attacking speed and easily hit her opponent with her strong attacks.

Storm The Albatross

Spd: 9, Acc: 6, Str: 10

Zap Trap: Storm lowers the opponent's strength by 1 for three seconds.
Storm's strength is his strength, but his weakness is his attacking speed. Because his attacks are so strong, his attacks are slow, but with Zap Trap, he can reduce the amount of damage he receives while using his strong attacks.

Vector The Crocodile

Spd: 9, Acc: 8, Str: 8

Bubblegum Ascent: Vector floats upwards for three seconds.
Vector is strong in all his stats, but his weakness is his attacking speed. With Bubblegum Ascent, Vector can float upwards, from the ground, and hover, from the air, depending on when you activate his ability.

Espio The Chameleon

Spd: 9, Acc: 8, Str: 6

Espionage: Espio reverses the opponent's controls for three seconds.
Espio's strength is his acceleration but his weakness is his attacking speed. With Espionage, Espio can send the opponent flying in the opposite direction, making them an easy target once they hit a wall.
